Typography

Rubik Black is our primary typeface. We chose Rubik for readability, and because it resembled the shapes and border radii of the logo.

Font

Rubik Regular is mainly used for body text, while SemiBold is used for paragraph headings. Bold is to be used for section headers, and Black is for super headings.

Weights & Styles

To ensure coherence, we adhere to a restrained approach in selecting font weights and styles. Within the Rubik family, we primarily utilize Black, Semibold, and Regular variants for our brand identity.

Usage Chart

When setting type, the leading should be consistent across various applications. Leading refers to the space between lines of text. Leading can be calculated with the following formulas. Type sizes are for example only.

Headline // Rubik Bold // 80/88pt // Sentence case
Type size × 1.1 = leading. Headlines at 80pt would have 88pt leading.

Subhead // Rubik SemiBold // 30/36pt // Sentence case
Type size × 1.2 = leading. Subheads at 30pt would have 36pt leading.

Body // Rubik Regular // 15/21pt // Sentence case
Type size × 1.4 = leading

Body copy at 15pt would have 21pt leading.
