Ar.io gives teams an open network for permanent records. Independent gateways can store cached copies, retrieve missing data from peers or Arweave, build indexes, verify responses, and resolve stable ArNS names.

How it works

  1. Identify records that must remain available outside primary operational systems.
  2. Upload the data and relevant metadata through the ar.io Console or programmatic tooling.
  3. Create an immutable permanent source record through ar.io.
  4. Retrieve, index, cache, and verify the record through one or more ar.io gateways.
  5. Use transaction IDs or an ArNS name to provide a durable recovery and reference path.
